Looks like you have some fiddlehead fern pictured there. Careful. Eating too much could make one susceptible to cancer. Do some research before you eat a lot of it.

dont worry, we Sarawakians eat a lot of fiddlehead ferns. no medical evidence showing relationship of cancer and fern consumption.
lots of poisonous food are cooked and carefully prepared before putting into our mouth. eg. tapioca, almond seed... etc
